Dutch design has been considered the paradigm for the world design community. Coming from various art backgrounds, designers in Social Energy are the true vanguards in modern graphic design works. The artists are able to bring awareness to the public on issues like the environment and violence. Hence the concept of Social Energy has become a new value standard for graphic art design.
Shenzhen, which just received the title of City of Design from UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization), is a significant venue for the show. Over the past three decades, the city has become a center for the country’s best graphic designers. Social Energy creates an opportunity for Chinese and Dutch designers to exchange concepts.
